So your driving this weekend, or hitching a ride. I might have room for you, but I always try to get some of my friends to come with and experience the Great Outdoors. Do you want to meet up at Sam's Club in Citrus Heights off of the Greenback exit 2 miles down? It has the cheapest gas around. Man the gas prices went up a bit since I was in Illinois. You still in Billy, Phil, others?

How can I contact the BOD's or the officers of the Sierra chapter?

Are there regular meetings of this chapter or of the individual areas within the chapter?

Or do we just meet each other on the runs?

The Sierra Chapter BOD is a mystery wrapped in an enigma, balled up in a riddle, inside a puzzle.

We generally meet up on runs in the summer, and have Meet and Greets in the winter.

With the distance between members it's hard to meet up alot of time. The chapter territory is Fresno and north with Western Nevada in there as well. The last few meets were in Sac by Arco Arena. We were thinking of Prairie City Offroad park with a bbq, but they are really clamping down there on people not running fender flares. It sucks to not get hassled by the cops on the street and to get a ticket or lecture when you try to wheel in that park.

That sounds reasonable enough, but those folks along the coast in NorCal have to get a nice high vantage point to make out those mountains. :laugh2:
