'Camping' is defined by many people many different ways. I started by sleeping in the back of my Datson truck, moved onto a nice tent set-up, camper shell then cab-over camper.....then small class C motorhome (rusted out from under me!) Found a 87' Bounder (this one has been my favorite, short wheelbase would let me go almost anyware...and by its present condition you all would be able to tell I did take it everywhere, heck it has as many brush scratches as my Jeep!) But...just yesterday while shopping to replace the Bounder......I ended up with one of the rolling town homes. Total fluff!! 98' Pace Arrow, 35' all the bells and whistles. And don't think anyone who is hauling all there gear in the back of there jeep is having any more fun..or should be granted any more esteem for thier persutes. I don't look at myself as being any 'more' (other than in dept!) than anyone who ventures outside to recreate (Do that behind a bush will ya!)
But having said that, I am looking for the old tent and gathering up all my old gear. I just don't think I can get that Motorhome up the bipass road into Coyote Canyon.....:moon:
Well, I just think that they all should be called different based on how "rough" it is For me, camping, in the true sense of it, does not include a campground, just me, tent in a middle of nowhere..... but it's been a while since I did that
