How much do you weigh?

How much does your rig weigh? I need something to compare to.

I brought mine by the dump yesterday and got it weighed. I had just under a 1/4 tank of gas, no doors with a spare tire and tool kit in the back. I was surprised at how much it weighed. My guess was 3200.

So how much are the other Sierra Chapter rigs weighing in at?

Stock, your guess would be really close. 3600 is still not bad. If you take into consideration what you have on it now, it accounts for the extra weight.. oversize tires, DOM steering, bumpers, taller coils/leafs etc. It all adds up.

Before sliders, cargo box/drawers, and my new MTR-k's IIRC mine was about 3300

Well I just weighed my doors before I put them on. Each front weighed in at 61.5 lbs and each rear was 44 lbs. So my total weight is 3831 lbs.

I was under the impression that stock manual everything XJ's were roughly 3000 lbs. Autos with power everything weighed significantly more. So that means that I added ~831 lbs of stuff to my heep!

You would be surprised at how much these Rigs weigh if you make them the Swiss Army knife of Jeeps. Aftermarket f/r bumpers, winch, full rollcage, beefy skidplates, roofrack, Tuffy toolboxes, spare parts galore and any tool necessary to utilize them, 2nd battery, full icechest and refrigerator, full tank of gas, camping and survival gear, heck, one tire and rim weighs 82 lbs. This puts my beat up XJ at 5200 lbs.

after seeing jims rig id say ill be up there around his weight after i finish the cage since i think he has a full cage ?
have all that and rocker replacements, way heavier axles that stock(built up 30 and the 9" rear) , and the 37s weight a lot.

Just dropped of my used oil and weighed my jeep. 4380 lbs.

2001 4 door
just under 1/2 tank of gas
spare D30 shafts
spare drive shaft
some extra fluids
winch bumper and winch
tail bone tire carrier and spare

I would imagine its around 4500-4700 lbs when loaded down.

i know i gotta be heavier than josh with my bigger tires, axles, rocker replacements, more spare parts, frame stiffeners? maybe? your bumpers are heavy tho josh. i bet I'm about 4500 without being loaded up.

My front TnT bumper is about 80 lbs if I had to guess. It all adds up quick.

your bumpers probably weight more than mine, but id say my axle housings and tires weight more, plus stiffeners and other metal here and there.
i can only imagine how heavy mine would be loaded. i carry so much spare parts...

I went to the city waste transfer station in North Highlands. I think there is one off Kiefer in Rancho too.

hahahaha i didnt jump on a bandwagon at all. I post in more than i do in any TJ forum. I love cherokees, just wanted to be able to take my top off and like having a frame =p

Stock tj dry weight is 3800 lbs, how did you make it 1000 lbs lighter with fluids? I think the tub and interior might weigh 1000? Cruise around on the frame bone stock?

I weigh 4100 with me in it. Putting it around..... 3860. I have a scale at my work at its really accurate.
