How did you find NAXJA?

Some A-hole cut me off with a NAXJA sticker on the rear hatch.

J/k Internet search, as to why Sequoia, I was looking for info on 4wd vehicles to replace my 2wd Nissan p/u.

Looks like the XJ won.

Had a Ford Ranger in the driveway - 2wd...

a freind had a cherokee - 4wd...

I sold my ranger, bought a 2 door Up Country 4x4 cherokee...

was linked here from Pirate where I made a retarted first post in Jeep tech over there...

and I havent left the keyboard yet...

I clicked on a cross post on Colorado4x4.org, I think it was about long arms. Posted my first longarm homebrew shortly after and got schooled harshly on not having my mount brackets hanging so low.

I was researching upgrades for the cherokee and found various sites. NAXJA came up as a frequent google result and blammo....eventually became a member.

I happened to be in Moab the weekend of the 20th anniversary FF, saw a bunch of jeeps like mine, followed them to the park where the show and shine was held. Joined on the spot.

I can blame it all on mikedashg. It was several months after the wife and I had bought the XJ and we were looking for groups to wheel with. We ended up at a training session up in Big Bear at the Discovery Center(it may have been the Del Rosa substation). It was a 4x4 certification class with SBNF's OHV program. During one of the breaks I started picking Mikes brain on the mods he had on his rig. He gave ma a SoCalXJ sticker, told me to check out the links on the site. NAXJA was/is one of those links. I ended up a paid member during the process of the SoCal chapter after attending the soon to be chapter's first run. I've been burning money by the bushel ever since.

I was looking for a porno site.

I entered Hardcore....and up popped

NAXJA MIDWEST CHAPTER.

I owe it all to Andy Stiener. I was out wheelin the XJ for the first time in Last Chance Canyon, I ran into Mike R and Andy. I watched them wheel ahead of us for a while and then met up witht them again at Burrow Schmidt Mine. Andy talked to me, gave me a litlle advice and a NAXJA card. It was two days later that I looked at the forum and almost 4 months before I joined.

FourWheeler Magazine. As soon as I can clear up some really pressing things I will be joining as a member. Still looking for the holy grail(rust free east coast XJ) though.

Three years ago I had my Jeep at the Great American Jeep Rally put on by Bay State Jeepers. When I went to leave there was a flyer on my windshield, visited the website when I got home and got hooked.
