I wished my XJ was wheelable. Well it is pushable right now. I got the head off and it is actually ok. It looked as tho the head gasket was leaking around # 4,5,6. The exhaust manifold is cracked on 5 and 6. The throttle linkage was broken. I think the oil leak was from the back of the valve cover. Hard to determine where it is actually from but will start from there.

So when I am all done it will have a rebuilt head, header H20 pump.

Other than all that I will be there tomorrow.

my YJ is still 2wd. damn I hate being busy and broke. this weekend at the race I spent a little more than I figured but on the way home my truck's radiator sprung a leak so now Im fawked

Dan, I can come get you if you want. What was the deal yesterday with us getting leaks and heating problems.

actually I think I got hit by a piece of tire. some asshat truck driver was driving on a shredded outer on his trailer and I thought I had changed lanes fast enough to avoid the carnage. I had a ruff day so Im not surprised at my luck.



Hey Mike the specs are: 88 chevy k3500 4x4 7.4Liter my current one is a factory one with oil and power steering cooler built in I dont need those though I can do auxillary's I have coolers

Just need a few gaskets, water pump, I am getting that rad from scott sometime this week. I am going to take the head and have it checked but it looks ok. It never overheated past 215 but while it is out I may as well get it done. I have not had a chance to call scott on the head that he has, but I will prob get it if it is still avail.
