Heres what I did today...

How many frozen control arm bolts are you guys experiencing?

Good weekend for that job..

5.9 is up, we did good, brad was the only one to break and steal bolts, but no probs on the control arms hahah...

We did a rough country 4" lift, added a 1" spacer up front, just got back from the alignment shop & riding pretty good......

before the lift I swapped in some u-joint axle shafts & swapped the front yoke and driveshaft for a u-joint style.....

This POS ran for the first time in 11 months yesterday after starting a heater core swap. I guess there is a vac leak somewhere because it is stuck in defrost.

its actually a 2000 sonoma, with a chevy grille, nothing fancy just a DD beater. lowered a bit with some camaro rims and some random stuff done to it. i wanted it mainly for the 5 speed/4 cylinder combo and i got it cheap.

yea it will be 10x better than the jeep on gas. had one back when i was a teenager, there pretty good little trucks that can run forever.

x2 I still have my 92 s10 - 5 speed 4 cylinder. Need to haul it down here from NY and restore it to be my DD. Needs brake lines and body/frame repairs thanks to NYS rust

Nice Mark. Maybe the line to the vacuum canister and cruise?
I didn't touch that line that I can remember, but I did have all the lines inside and through the firewall disconnected. I'll check next time I'm home.

On my 93 it was a bad junction along the firewall. Plastic broke.
Hopefully its something simple like that, because if it requires me to take the dash off again, that thing isn't getting touched for another 11 months.

IIRC, there was a gray and a black vacuum line coming through where the heater core lines are (at least on my '92 there was).

I forget which one was which. I believe one was for the fresh air door and the other was for the different airways. The blend door was cable actuated.

Pretty sure they're all one piece until they reach either the HVAC controller or the diaphgram below the passenger side of the dash so I doubt you forgot about them. Either way I don't think you'd have to pull the dash.

Pretty sure the grey one controls the heater control valve, I.e. gets a golf tee stuffed in the rubber elbow after deleting the valve. The other I think is vac supply to the whole hvac control syste, but im not sure.
