Heres what I did today...

Bunch of rust repair on a friends yota that I'm putting 2x6 rock sliders on for him... pulled the fender/fender liner off and found a massive rust hole a few months ago. Been waiting on finding a good rust free donor at the JY for some sheetmetal ever since, finally found it a few days before Christmas.

Before (random piece of threaded rod tacked in as a support brace while I repaired the extensive rust in the pinch weld and corner of the floor/firewall)

A few hours with the die grinder, dead blow, angle grinder, etc turned a cab corner cut into this

All done!

Left a few spot weld tabs on the leading edge unfastened as I need to get the rock sliders in and modify the fender well a bit before I can decide how to set that part up.

I probably could have slapped it together in a few hours but it seemed worth it to do it right.

Nice work dude...

The 35s look right at home on there Chris

thanks all, I always liked those v5's on your old junk, and I have (2) other sets of AR 767s (the rims with the red and blue stripe) haha... time for a change...

Now it get the figure comment! :moon:

Send some of those my way please.
They look great.

I lost the last of the bathroom remodel pics when i had my laptop crash. It's been done since late summer but we finally got the replacement window yesterday, we cracked a pane and decided to just swap out the whole thing.

Gary came over and got it in for me. Bathroom is finally completed.

stopped by kens pick and pull/house of horrors and got an 8.25 and disc brakes and 2wd beam stuff, went home and ran power wire, 3 cat6, fire alarm and co axial cable from my basement box to attic box

We were waiting till after the holidays to start on some new flooring, Gary came over and we started tearing the old stuff out.

Met up with Vette and grabbed an NP249 with a bad VC...score! Thanks Chris!
