Hi! I own a 94 grand cherokee limited and i busted my sway bar. how? i dont know. i cant get into the shop until next friday.... how safe is this to drive with? should i not drive it? also.. expensive to fix? please help me!! thank you!

Thank you! as you can probably guess i am a girl who knows nothing, but my brother owns a jeep and i loved it so i wanted one. it scares the hell out of me on the turns though.... what about shaking when you go over a series of bumps over 50 mph? sorry... my jeep seems to hate me at times.

Haul it out! You can still drive it, you'll just have a little more body roll. I don't have any in mine and most fellas on this forum don't either.
:twak: Actually quite a few (if not most) have it (or at least front one). Anyways couple things come to mind:
1. How is it broken? Can you take a picture? I somehow have a hard time imagining a BROKEN in half swaybar (that's what I'm understanding from your post at least).
2. The shaking after bumps sounds like wobble of sorts. Does the wobble go away or is it the type of a wobble which goes away only after you fully stop and you need to get a new seat and a new change of underwear (that latter type would be death wobble). With wobble things to check: when was the last time you had your wheels aligned and balanced?
3. Is the jeep lifted? what year? (as in wj? or zj? or wk?)

'94, she said so in the first post. I bet it is a broken endlink, not the bar itself. Easy fix. And the shaking could be from out of balance tires, worn ball joints, worn out track-bar ends, or worn out control arm bushings. Figure on a nearly 12 year old vehicle living through Wisconsin winters, wear parts are gonna be nearing their useful lifespan.

This thread sucks without pics!, and make sure you post a pic of you're Jeep too.:gag:

Really, I would bet an end link. and if your brother has knowledge of Jeeps he should be able to fix it, fairly cheap.

when i put on a bb i took both swaybars off. at speeds over 50 if i hit a bump id get dw and have to come to a stop. that sucked. i got some discos and put the swaybar back on and now no more dw. but then i accidentally jumped my jeep and now my swaybars twisted.
