Hello from new member

I bet i can fit 35's on my 4.5 inch lift.

Sure you can, you saw Pink's Heep at Plane Crash, 4.5 RE w/35's even on a D-35. Not that it was that great of an idea, now she is on 33's with a 8.25.

Understand the swap to the 8.25 but why the drop to 33's?

That was the first thing we did, when it still had the D-35. Shortly after that a co-worker was doing the CC with his 98 so he let me steal anything I wanted, so I snagged the 8.25 along with a lot of other goodies before he turned it in. The other thing was the expense of running 35's, everything needs to be upgraded, and the 35's that were on there were low on tread and made a deal with a guy on here to trade 4 worn 35's and 1 new 35 for 4 33's with more tread. It's the wifes heep, so it will be quite a while till she's ready for 35's and all of the upgrades needed.

Ahh well sounds like it all worked out good then. That's cool your buddy let you snag those parts off his jeep.

I definitely think the down-size to 33's was smart.

I am 245 75 16 tires and a 2 inch lift with armor .and have vert little problems with trails my jeep flexes as well as most of the hi lifted jeep and i get 15 16 mpg in town and 23 on the hwy

You all know you want to step up and go big. 10" lift with 37's is the only way to roll.:D

Nothing says "cool" like big blocks...

That just looks retarded right there. Why in the world would anybody think that was a good idea?
