they don't limit their down travel at all, and they trim like crazy. For rock crawling you don't need a lot of uptravel, thats for the high speed KOH type stuff.

HAHA... I hope to get 35's some day... But fawk that 6+ inches nonsense. Ill be on 5 or 5.5 inches and 35's. I bet i can fit 35's on my 4.5 inch lift.

not saying they do things to specifically limit downtravel. But due to clearance issues most were just running shirt arms in factory locations. Thus not allowing for as much down travel or travel period as you would expect for something on 35's. I'll tell you what tho it looks sweet

You never seen the guys rockin 3" budget boosts on 35's???
They are just bump stopped to like an inch up travel and limited down travel.

Well I need to push my axle forward before i can go to 35's.

Why would you even want 6+ inches of lift. That is just compensating for something. Biggest lift i will do on a DD is 5.5

I know buddy but that whole truck size to manhood size comparison is so dumb. Who cares if someone wants have stupid big truck let them. Some people just like that kinda thing. No dumber then guys who put them on the ground. Just be happy with what ya got.

Ya you do t want the lift til you drive with it. I think right about 6" and 35's wheels and ridesjust fine. I DD'd mine for a while like that. It just prevent so much rocker and belly smashing and pounding. Approach angle is better. Departure angle is better. Just try it on a fee occassions and you will see.

Now a tow rig up 10 on 42" swampers is stupid. Unneccessary. Getting bigger tires to match the truck proportionally is one thing. But giant Cali boy style 2wd trucks are ridiculous.
