Thinking about going up and running hell hole pretty soon. Anyone interested in going for a weekend long camping/fishing trip? Kinda open on weekends between now and July 1.

the reno trip is the next weekend just so you know, but if rob finishes my front end and i swap it in then im in most likely anyway. good shake down run for the cage and 37s ...

i didnt watch the video all the way through but i didnt see nothin that an open open XJ on 31s with discos and some sliders couldnt get through.
they drive slow and spot even the smallest rocks. maybe it was his 5 year old daughters first time driving?

Well I still plan on going. Money might be tight since I just switched jobs and moved. But I think I can swing it still.

Can't make any trips for june. Going to finally put all other projects on hold and concentrate on XJ. June is straight jeep prep month for me to hopefully embark upon a jeepin marathon for the rest of the year and wheel as many trails as i can, starting with the con for the fourth.

Here’s a to-do that i need to generate anyway so i'll do it here for my own benefit.
Pull oil pan/install re-enforced plated unit
Pull HO Cyl Head get renix head rebuilt and install Renix cyl head
Pull tranny and fix cracked flex plate
Weld on front frame stiffeners
Rebuild RE CA's
Weld 6* shims to spring perch
strengthen roll cage mounting points
new C ball joints
flip ti-rod
Pull apart Rear axle and make sure ring gear/axle shafts/rear bearings are all good.
minor front/rear axle truss
Install 2.5" 12" travel front FOA's w/ relocated lower shock mounts
Clean up wiring

Finish installing fiberglass fenders
Find some different 35’s
Install a cat

all i gotta do is figure out how to finish building a roll cage on this thing, and some fenders,
re install front carrier with lunchbox after gears are done again
put on the 37s.
build some upper coil spring retainers. fix the stock lower retainer setup.

and pray to the dana 30 gods for love on 37s...
