So does anyone else run rockrails anymore?
think he was wondering if the rock rails would still fit fine with the stiffeners on there.

Yes, I run the same set I ran before the stiffeners (for now).
The pinch seam deflected a little bit when I cinched the bolts down again, but it was only 1/8" or so.
Fit just like they did before.
The first prototype is a pretty good fit. A few small changes and we'll have them ready.
Just an FYI guys front stiffeys are now on the site.

a twisted wire wheel in my 3.5" angle grinder makes FAST work of it. A very coarse flap wheel was doing an OK job too, till it got completely clogged with undercoating at least. I say hit it with an angle grinder + twisted wire wheel then an 80 grit flapwheel to clean up any residual oxide/paint/primer.any input on how much heating it takes and what kind of scraper to use to remove the undercoating? a link to a scraper on the harborfreight site or something would be cool.
on my last jeep i wirewheeled it off and i really hated it...
i also love the idea of marking where the welds will be and just cleaning the paint off that spot
thanks
