I lost a spindle washer so I have to buy anotherone. other then that its just plumb the brakes and done!

Hell yeah! Cant wait to see this thing at nac fest. Your rear axle, dif cover and shocks scream 'Merica. I like it.

its 1.5" 1/8 wall box tube. I welded another piece of 1/8 flatstock on the front and back to make the two vertical walls 1/4 for extra strength. its held in on both sides with 5/15 fine thread self taping hexheds. and welded to the rails.

this is just temporary when I do frame stiffeners after nacfest I plan on building a real Xmember/skid for the atlas.
 
got my brakes plumbed.

then I broke the driver side front hard line. FML it was a pain in the a$$ to do. but I got it done.

then I went to instal my new speedo gear and AA must have sent me the gear for a mechanical speedo because its much too long.

tomorrow my wheels come. once I throw those on it should be drivable again!

turns out my front drive shaft is about 2 inches too long so Im going to shorten it.

I bled the brakes but there still really soft so Im going to do that again tomorrow.

other then that its just throw the muffler back on and get the front geared and its trail ready. Im probably gonna hack up the front fenders too if I have time.
