The pics don't really do the lights justice to be honest, seems like it cuts out some of the light... Still need to figure out the money spot and aim the lights.

damn those things are kinda bright. i might get a set cuz im a cheap ass too. plus i dont give a shit. i have broken so many lights with tree limbs or rocks smacking em. i think id be less pissed if i broke a hfer over a hella.

does anyone have a link to these Harbor freight lights?

Ive searched allday and cant frind any of them for sale

Thanks
Garrett

Damn, those are bright. I'm assuming the Hella lights would be similar if not a little better then the walmart lights I put on my Jeep, and I thought those were decently bright. Looks like I'll be throwing some HID lights on the Jeep instead of going with any more halogen ones. They use less energy anyways, right?

I find it funny that everyone bitches about people going with cheaper lights. It'll still get the job done, even though it is slightly less output then one that's hundreds of dollars more. Not everyone has enough money to throw around like it aint no thang. This way, if one does get broken(which is highly likely, considering most of us love to wheel), it really wont be much of a thing. Cause it's cheaply replaced.

wtf save some for us haha

Only need 1 more then you guys can have the rest :)

I'll post up the HF part number when I get back to the house, I think they make two sizes with the 9" being the biggest but not 100%

I'm not saying these lights are the best and do believe that you get what you pay for as far as quality goes but I have 3 of these lights now for the price of one Hella 4000 but if I could afford the hella 4000 I would have much rather went that route...

The part number for the other size is 95058 don't have a link I don't believe they are listed on their site...

That sucks. Closest store to me is 200 miles away, and who knows if they even have them in stock.

I did find some other brands on ebay for about the same price though. Even have a flood light model, that would be nice to have a set or two of those with HID.

seems that CSK (Kragen/schucks/checkers) sells a similar light, or did anyway, and people over on racedezert seem to like them ok. never used either one.

I have a pair of the 7" ones from Rugged Ridge (same as Kragen just different packaging) and they're super bright. They've got a long range beam that grows as it gets further away. Not really very good at short distances, because it's very focused, but at distance it is fairly wide. More of a flat beam vs a normal round beam. a guy over on jf said he tested them at a shooting range and could see targets at the 500yard mark and trees and stuff past that, using just one light.
