Hello everyone,
After going back and forth for the last couple of weeks we've decided it would be best to postpone the Great American Jeep Rally for this year (2007). It saddens us to make this announcement but unfortunately the time and financial commitment was a little much for us this year. Robin and I have turned the event over to NEJeep & Baystate who will begin funding it in 2008.
Robin and I would like to sincerely thank all the GAJR "Volunteers" who have worked with us these past few years. With your help and with the support of the wheeling community, the Great American Jeep Rally has donated a little over $25,000 to charities since we started back in 2001. You all deserve a round of applause for this!!!!
We will be updating our website later tonight with the "postponement" information. We have approx six weeks to get the word out about the postponement and could use everyone's help with spreading the word. If possible, please post this information on your clubs bulletin board and/or any other place you feel others will see.
Again, the Great American Jeep Rally will be back "bigger & better " in 2008!!!
