So just out of curiosity, what's the concensus on the strength of those bends. I can usually visualize basic stresses and such in my head, but I'm having a tough time with this one.

why? cause the tubes are not straight?

think of a football helmet facemask, or a pre-stressed steel flatbed truck.

in both cases the structure is formed to operate against the direction of the destructive forces.

besides, this isn't the cage in the drivers cockpit we're talking about.... if there are areas that don't account for destrcutive forces from ANY direction, no harm, no foul.

I was just curious as to how the bends affected the structural integrity of the cage. Maybe you don't know and that's why you got defensive??

Beez, that thing turned out way cool. Very nice work. I for one love the way it looks. The front bumper looks way out of place though. Nix the front bumper & finish to tube work like it should be.
