Mine looks good. I gave it a good look over before I painted it. It looks even better after the paint. I just hope it doesn't burn off in the first 15 minutes.
 
Just finished re-tightening the bolts on mine, still leaking exhaust. However I replaced the ignition coil and now at least she runs right.
Looks like the jeep will make the flog.
 
I still have a laundry list to complete, but I will be there either way.

My wife's brother in law and her sister are going to try to make it. They both have stock JK's, but I told them it was time to ignore the warranties......
 
im out on this one... i just realizing that i wont be home any weekend in the next month and a half with football season and studying for finals. yall have fun
 
seriously... you cant take one weekend off during the football season? its called dvr... :D

anyways i spent all afternoon and night working on my pig yesterday from about 430 to 1030 and i got the radiator mounted up and the hood "modified" to accept it. although im completely screwed if i roll it or a tree falls on it... i might need a radiator roll bar in my future :/ need new hoses (could prolly use one of them but it was stretched really tight)

also took the driveshafts off to check on the tcase but couldnt see anything wrong with it but its ready to get taken out and inspected more thoroughly. tire should be fixed by next week sometime and i have prospects on an extra set of tires for spares and the like... so maybe a couple more days like that or a weekend solid and ill be ready...

not just that. my club is hosting a ride the weekend after. and im going to the tenn/memphis game the weekend before. so that basically leaves me no time to work on the jeep. but ill see what i can do. may be able to swing it. not sure
 
The dilemma......to wheel my rig like it is or push to get the 4.10's, 8.8 rear and locker installed before hand. That is if Tyler even has time to do it.

I was thinking about coming down with Mark on Oct 30th and leaving my XJ with him. I guess it would be good to talk to Tyler first, ha!

This would be fine with me. I should be able to get that stuff taken care of for you in the little time we still have. I can do the 8.8 swap in a day pretty easily, and the 4.10 install can take a few hours too, so maybe 2 days o get it done. Remember you have that GC that you won at the Crawl, might as well make use of it!

Well it looks like I got everything done that I originally planned on, the problem is more crap has now popped up that I'm trying to decide if I should address before the flog. Perhaps I'll just ride shotgun with someone.
 
Phase II underway. The Flog should be a lot of fun this year.

Locker and gears baby!!!!! (Sorry that is a big step up for me)

i got through some fixin and prep for the flog today myself.. put in a new gas tank and salvaged the old fuel pump, cut the rear quarters, welded up some new shock mounts, and swapped the janky junkyard hubs for some warns finally...... sadly though im not gonna have time to swap out the now severy cracked header so your all gonna have to deal with my jeep sounding like a 4.7 litre fart machine
