Front D.S. grease collar

I have managed to bang up and rip out the zerk fitting on the grease collar for my front driveshaft. Where can you get just a new collar and how do you replace them?? Doesn't want to just come off for me. Thanks, JP

Mine's been smashed with the zerk ripped out for years. I fixed it once, but it only lasted one trip, so.......

Pull the shaft out and take it to a driveline shop. The last one I had replaced cost me $10.

Thanks, I'll check that out. Was hoping you could just buy one and there was some magic way to get that thing off. Oh well.

If a Zerk is the only thing you took out,than an "easy-out" should make short work of that!

The grease collar is usually threaded onto the slip yoke. If not too banged up it should unscrew off
