those are some good axles... find out if they are from an M39, M800, or M900 series if you want to use the brakes though, and I believe the M800 ones have Ujoints instead of Rezeppa joints (ujoints are better.)

There is absolutely no way you will ever break a 5 ton rockwell with an XJ though, so as long as you plate the hell out of the frame, cage it, and build proper mounts and links it'll be straight up badass. The military puts those axles under trucks that weigh 20k EMPTY, your entire rig will fall to pieces around those axles well before they will break.
