finaly got an XJ 99 limited with some stuff

I can measure mine when I get home. I haven't heard a peep from my coils since I put my 60 in. I know Ross and I widened the lower spring perches by ~1.5" overall.

Clearly the answer is to get drunk again, torch off the coil buckets and inner fenders, and use coilovers, you can outboard those an inch or three no problem :eyes::anon:

Exactly what Ken just said.

Also have all 4 mounts tacked on now, coils can only be moved out 1/2 to 3/4 on each side till they touch the Cs which is a lot less than I thought. I'll be moving the coil pads.

Correct unit bearing came in, fits perfect on the advanced brand rotor.

Caliper brackets finish welded as well, just need to bolt it all together. Oh and some lug nuts too.

Just waiting on the blue torch fab steering arms to figure out the steering set up.

Uhhh I don't really remember, I bought all the stuff off pirate except the one new unit bearing. Also spider redid their housing so it's $700 now, used to be $500 I think.

To replace this now it would run
$700 Housing
$1200 knuckles
$1200 both unit bearings
$3/400 axle brackets (custom set up)
$175 Brake setup
$280 Steering arms
$150? Steering set up (still working on that)

No guts now other than HP case which runs $420 from currie

My original plan was to use just a spider housing with aftermarket inner Cs and a $100 junkyard king pin donor axle for everything else. But I came across a good deal on the housing and knuckles so I ended up with the spider ones.

Just weld the usp 40 in there since youre destined to be stuck with it for life.

Go to hell I hate you! Go build your WJ

Hahaha everyone, calm your tits. I'm not done yet, when I find another used 9 inch ARB I'll pick it up and put it in the front along with the shafts, all that's going to be the easiest part. I'm slightly more concerned and focused on making it drive around and steer than have guts in the front axle.

Shock mounts aren't welded on yet and that's just the old track bar, I'll be making a new one with the new Johnny joints and what not.

Damn how tall is that?

I don't know, those are the original front RE springs that Ryan put on there years ago, believe he had an RE 5.5 kit, I'm thinking it's like 6/7in of lift since I have a 3.5in tube + spring perch + spring retainer which radially add 1.5in if not 2.

The ass end still sits higher and I need to cut some coils off the springs back there. It sat leven in y garage with 37s on the front and 31in rollers on the back.
