finaly got an XJ 99 limited with some stuff

well not much has changed, heater blower motor is not working again due to wiring problems. does anyone know where i can get just the plastic plug end from the wiring harness? or part number? when i go to the dealer it shows the blower motor having the wires attached at the motor end. what i have is 2 male ends on the blower that i need to get power to, i custom made some blade connectors to work but they fell off.

also is it possible to get the entire wire to replace? i looked on the schematics but it seems the wire is part of the harness and not easily replaced with out cutting.

ideas?

I usually get em at the junkyard, show up with a pair of wire cutters and butcher some jeeps.

Hmmm. I'll have to do that tomorrow.

I also started working at Clayton's part time today, pretty much just a broom operator and assembly stuff now. But only way to go from here is up!!!!

well..... fixed the heater blower motor last night. heat works so i can drive it now, with a daily high of 15f you can't ignore that. the wires are still kinda burnt though, i'll have to work on that another day.

hey just curious if you fixed the tach/speedo not working with the airbag light kicking on cause i got the same issue it went away for a while now its back lol nice jeep btw...and i think the guy you bought that jeep from bought some seats from me to replace broken seat rails lol its a nice jeep in person if its the one i'm thinking of...

it heard you talking about it on the internet

hahah ya, the newest thing it's doing is the heater blower motor works when cold then gets slower as it get up to temp. after 20min its not working hahaha, then if i get out and wiggle the wires on the motor it starts to work again. i have a new motor to put in, that should fix it.

now i'm getting ADD at work looking at all the lift parts i can put on the jeep like the 3 link and rear 4link coil over haha.

from 2 weekends ago. aimlessly wandering around the woods near a friends house under some high lines and where we used to play paintball years ago.

Just have to adjust the steering now and upgrade it. I plan on copying the shop XJ set up in a week or so.

did some body work today

Alex22 was out banging and welding on the XJ for a little bit today after i tried my hand at welding on the track bar bracket... ehh, it came out ok.

it's ok, he's an engineer.

Ya my arm hurts now from the sun burn. Before this pic Alex is walking around looking for his welding jacket
"Hey is my Weldon jacket in my jeep or my other jeep?"
"You don't have shoes on" -me
"Oh"
Starts to weld.

Ha back in Yuma AZ we build we build and entire Pre runner all wearing shorts, tshirts and flip flops.

At least I wear boots jeans and a tshirt while welding :gee:

I found out the wrong way a while ago that earplugs are a great thing to wear while welding too. Nothing like listening to earwax boil as a ball of weld spatter rolls around on your eardrum.
