Filarski's XJ Pre-runner build

Hang in there. Ryan made some changes to the original plan. We're going a different direction with the front suspension.
We should have some parts to look at early next week.

For Sale: Custom Currie Built 31 spline Ford 8" Jeepspeed front axle...

Up-date:
Still smokin ass hot here...
Upholstry guy showed up with the back seat last night. Materials matched the front PRP's perfectly.

What you asking for that front axle

We were able to line up a hub to hub (and then some) TTB set up from a 91 Bronco.

We got everything disassembled and stuck all the parts we’ll be using in solvent washer. Solvent tank stripped them down to bare metal and readied for trussing later.

Temporarily mocked up.
We ordered steel yesterday so we can build a temporary frame on the floor for cycling the suspension and help us get a vision of the new cross member.
Should have a plan together after the weekend.

If you guys need a slacker to hang out and bug.... hit me up. I'd love to roll out and check this out while you're tinkering with it. I have alot of free time now.

you're keeping it 4x4?! SUBSCRIBED! I have the exact same TTB setup waiting to go into my spare XJ project :eyes:

When adding TTB, is it pretty easy to get them lined up correctly?

I talked to Ryan today at work, and we agreed that the biggest obstacle will be getting the cross-member right for the TTB. If you've ever looked under an F150 or TTB Bronco, there's a HUGE cross member under the engine for the pivot point. That will have to be grafted into the XJ somehow. Lots of sub-frame upgrades in his future. He's pretty confident it can be done, though. I can't wait to see this thing on the road when it's done. Should drive really nice.
