I am working on clearancing my fenders for my new bigger tars and have a question about metal work. As you can see, the sheet on the inside of hte fender is shaped and needed to be cut in order to expand out to make room. My question is how to best fill or cover these holes? Should I take one long strip of strap and run it along the inside edge? Or is there another alternative? I cant really get at the inside very easily. I hate welding upside down as well.... should I fill it with foam and cover it with silicone?
Any other ideas?
I boxed in the lower rocker area with some strap already
I think its going to turn out nice once its all cleaned up and painted....
