Go to PNP and snag some off a wrecker

Meet between 8:00 and 8:30 or so? It'll be an early morning to head out from the bay area, but we should be able to get to the trail at a good time.

At Boreal I could even see some bare ground around some trees from the chairlift. As I remember though, a lot of Bowman is shaded? I've driven it during hte summer on my way to the bpacking trailhead and I kinda remember there being a fair amount of shade, enough to keep the snow from melting as much as in the sun. I drove Grouse Ridge Rd in January of 2001 and it hadn't snowed in weeks, but the coverage was still good enough to be fun (fun enough that I got my Explorer stuck most of the way up Grouse Ridge and had to leave it overnight). So I wouldn't worry too much, especially with the NWS predicting snow for Thursday night and Friday.
