Hello all.
I am heading to Dusy trail labor day weekend. August 30-Sept 1st.
Have 3 rigs going so far for a lot of wheeling not much relaxing trip.
Have wanted to do this trail for almost 20 years. So the call came and I am gonna go
Most people say 3 day trip on the Dusy is a lot of driving, I am ready!
Let me know if anyone else is going...

Let me see what Mark is doing twinhauler. Maybe I could ride as his navigator (the ol red isn't up to dusy, needs stuff, lol). You're right though, even in the most prepared rig the Dusy is a lot of work. But a fun accomplishment nevertheless.

I'll let you know. (Are you bringing the girls?)

I might see you guys up there. Was thinking of running in to Thompson Lake on Sunday from Courtright.

Don't forget to bring stronger shovel!

Meeting up at voyager rock campsite Friday night. It's a about 2 miles on easy trail from courtright res.
So Saturday morning we hit the good stuff bright and early.
I will be there no earlier than 11pm on Friday night. A jk and a setup four runner will be there.
33s and lockers and skids are needed, spare parts also. It's a long trail so must be prepared.
Last gas is at shaver lake gas about 30 miles from trailhead. It's open all night with credit card.
I am bringing 4-5 gallons of gas just incase

Make sure your rig is tip top and all bolts are tight and joints greased. Its the constant beating that breaks things on this trail. I will hopefully see you guys up there on Sunday, if not then have a safe trip.

We will be hitting the trail from voyager rock CG around 9am on Saturday.

Almost adventure time

Looks like a blast, just watched a bunch of YouTube videos. The scenery is epic.

There's a video where a couple guys run it in Land Rovers on tires no bigger than 30".

I hope you guys take lots of pictures!

I saw the rover video. those had to be at least 33s...
but it looked pretty chill.

they have to be in the 31-33 metric skinny tire arena

Looks like a great trail. 33's seems almost too small.
