Funny, Jeff. On our way home from Jerrys cabin my wife and I were listening to the news and they were talking about that evil dude. I asked my wife....how long is it going to take before they realize that they CAN NOT let these guys out of jail?

I understand the whole deal about constitutional rights and all but how many times has this happend just this year? Where a several time convicted sex offender has been let out only to do it again or kill some kid?

Personally I think that if someone is charged with a Violent sexual crime they should be held without bail till they are convicted. If they are convicted then it should be a manditory capital offence. End of argument for me.

you just can't do what i think should be done. I agree with Okie but after the removal of unit, insert permanently into said offenders ass.

Surgical castration followed by 1-5 years incarceration in general population followed by execution...

Nothing like a throwing a child rapist to the wolves for a little R & R...

Too bad convicted child molesters can't be turned over to the families of victims for punishment at their own discretion...

Or something to that end.

Too late for the family...

My heart goes out to any parent/family...

There's some consolation in the fact that within the prison community...

They have their own code of conduct and system of punishment.

if it were legal...

I'd contribute some cash towards a bounty on him...

Why do you think they bulletproof vest them up when they move em. Could always just offer to keep a convicted lifer supplied with smokes for as long as he's in jail to take care of business... You always hear those stories about how child molesters don't survive in prison, guess what, they do and alot of them are getting out lately for some reason. My cynical side says it's so people won't be so hesitant or resistant about any new and more draconian laws they want to push thru. Can you imagine if the feds tried to push thru the patriot act if 9/11 had not happened or opened the gulag at gitmo, no way would that have ever flown. Took a massive act to get that stuff passed and lop off alot the constitutional protections we had that we don't have anymore.
As for duncan, long drop off a tall building and let one of the parents have the option to give him the final push over the edge....

Which is why it's important to go online and check your local database for registered sex offenders...

Granted... Many will not comply or will give false info...

But finding out the neighbor 2 doors down has a history of messing with kids might change your household6 security protocols.

Personally I would like to see them all dead. But with the ACLU and other stupid groups like this that will never happen. At least not legally.

I wonder though if the chair or leathal injection is really too good for them. Life in prison having the same thing happen to them seems like better justice to me and I am not opposed to the death penalty in any way.

I think one of the biggest problems is that these people get convicted and then are let out to do it again. They do not reform, they do not get over their want for more kids.

Florida has taken a step in the right direction with the ankle bracelets but they aren't the answer. Sure they might lead the cops to where he is molesting a kid but if he gets close the cops won't get there in time.

Thats why I say they just never get out of jail. No bail, no parole. Just let them spend their life getting what they have done for the rest of their life.

Convicted sexual predators, what's the solution?

Step 1: Conviction by jury trial
Step 2: Scumbag is given ONE appeal attempt within 30 days of first conviction
Step 3: Immediately after losing the appeal, take said scumbag to the nearest tall tree behind the courthouse and hang him by the neck until dead
Step 4: Repeat as necessary

I was sent to Coeur d'alene the day the girl was found, mostly to handle phones. Saw this prick on his way to jail. I say extermination.

(Why is it when I put in the girl's name, it shows the "beating a dead horse" icon?)

The hasta in the name shasta is the code for that icon.
It's a joke from way back.

Short-term. Incarceration. It is extremely difficult to treat personality disorders and sexual fetishes (pedophilia is technically a fetish). They are a result of a lifetime of ingrained learning that is difficult to undo, and requires an intense desire on the part of the person to get better, something that is rarely found and cannot be easily learned. 'You can't grow a conscience' is a common sentiment in these circles.

Long-term: Educational and medical funding for mental health, longterm treatment and prevention. The vast majority of sexual predators, sociopaths, and personality-disordered persons experienced traumatic childhood abuse (physical, sexual, psychological, neglect). Preventing child abuse prevents the long-term development of many serious disorders. Put $ into all levels of education, community supports, parent support programs, drug rehabilitation, family violence prevention, follow up programs for convicted criminals, medical supports, access to support services, mental health support programs, clinical counselling availability, etc.

I notice that you have not yet voted that way :D
I guess you haven't heard..Even the sex offenders will tell you treatment just doesn't work.
