My XJ's door chime will come on about 30 minutes after the engine has been running and only stops when I run the engine again. Reading other posts, I targeted my attention on the door switches. The front passenger switch wires had copper showing so I repaired with electrical tape. The other three switches looked good. All switches operated smoothly. The demon is still present. Do you suggest that I replace all the switches with new? My switches were the three pin type.
Does the rear hatch have a switch? I did not see one.
