So I brought my jeep in for the e22 recall, as I was picking it up the mechanic walked up to the desk, threw the keys and work order at the service writer and said "make sure you tell this guy this place ain't a f***ing Midas" "I lost an hour fighting with that rusty POS" and walked away it was my jeep and he didn't know that. Before the service writer could say anything I yelled at the guy and asked him what his problem was and he said "warranty doesn't pay me to work on rusted sh**" and "you're lucky because I could have said the cat passed inspection and you wouldn't have gotten a new one" you know, I worked in a dealership body shop sometimes you beat the book and sometimes you lose. No need to be whiny about it..... The service writer kept apologizing and asked if he could get the manager and we could solve it I told him there's nothing to solve because I am not a whiny little b**ch like him and I won't be coming back for $120 an hour service on my 96 jeep anyways.... I left it at that maybe he was having a bad day hope the writer left it alone too I wasn't going to get his bosses involved for a free oil change or whatever token they would have offered me id hate to think he still got reprimanded anyways when I didn't complain....
