dana 30 with 5.38's $2500

WTF? he is confused. or he has an old cj front end with 5.38s which is actually worth nothing at all, i used to give them away when I had my CJ.
 
john lets sell our d30s for 5k a piece!!
 
LOL i know.
Even if he had some specially made 5.38s for a hp30 (which would possibly be scary weak to run ) id max out a built 30 with what he has listed, (or a 44 for that matter in the 400-500$ range without a truss, sleeves, gussets, no chromos beefed up mounts , killer ball joints, WJ brakes etc. (it better have damn RCVS for 2500$ lol)

I feel like my 30 is a polished turd and I would feel like a turd myself to ask more than 1500$ ( i have around 1500 into the newer gears, grizzly, and WJ brakes let alone the rest....)

(inner sleeves, truss, knuckle gussets, RS cover, chromos with new 760s, Currie steering, all new WJ brake swap , 4.88s, brand new grizzly/master install LCA skids, new spicer ball joints, new bushings, lube locker, and lucas 85/140 )
 
or its a 60
 
He gave me a call. I asked him about gears and 5.38 and he said someone already informed him they can only be 4.88
I was telling him about another axle I was looking at built for $700 and he said he didn't even believe the stock housing would sell for that much. I told him factory housings go for like $150 and he was baffled. He is honestly selling it for $2500

I'm requesting pics. He must have a dana 60...
 
he sounds very confused. he probably thinks he has 30,000$ into his jeep and that it is worth every penny....
