It is neither crysler or crystler, it's Chrysler for god's sake.
Anyway, if the pumpkin (the thing between the axle tubes, the things the wheels are attached to) has a flat bottom, looks like the bottom half of a stop sign or any one of the other things people have compared them to hundreds of times to answer this question, you have a Chrysler 8.25 axle. FYI, in a 2000 it will be a 29 spline if it is indeed a 8.25.
