There's another "built" XJ that pops up from Santa Cruz that the owner wants somewhere around $20K for.

I've seen the white one in person a few times. Really nice rig, but $35K is way out of my cheap ass range.

Exactly. Beautiful XJ, but $35K is a lot of $$$, and out of the price range of most of us on craigslist. I wish Val well & luck selling it.

Hard to say "Built" with Dana 30's, even with 30 spline axles you still are on that same RnP.

This guy is parting out a rolled over XJ.
He has tube doors for a 98 4 door, only the fronts for $50.
I think he's asking to much for the tranny and x-case, but thats my opinion.

This bronze colored XJ has been for sale for a long time. I'm sort of intrigued with the color. The wife says no freaking way, but I sort of like it. Lift, bumpers, rack, and other essentials might dress it up nicely.

What do you guys think? Ugly, or sweet?

It's not bad looking, get it and get black rims, black flares, basically black trimming and it would look nice but...
the price is to high.
you can get a 97+ for cheap.

Notice in the photo the weeds growing up around the wheels? During the economy squeeze there are lots of built and semi built XJs hitting craigslist. I am guessing this XJ is probably a victim of that.

Possibly but I'm calling BS on the stroker. The ad says 4.0L stroker. You think the guy selling it would know whats it's been stroked out 4.5 4.7 etc. The bumper might be worth taking a look at it though.

Ok so I called the guy, it has a 6.5" Rusty's short arm kit in good shape.
The motor is a 4.7 Stroker RENIX.
The front bumper has been sold.
Nothing else left on it was anything special. Just body.
