I think we should just throw off all of our masks and call this what it is;

OneTon, the new rig is nothing special. Actually, its a very boring run of the mill YJ. Looks like every other YJ out there. But, thats okay I guess. I should be done around Christmas or so, so I should be ready for a Winterfest shake down run.

There is one person in charge of determining the date.

I know that the date has been set, i just don't know when it is.

Winterfest Man will ask the FF to get an event board setup, but there's no reason to do it until late dec, early jan.

I'd like to mention, that winterfest is/will be a scaled-down, casually "organized" run.

Badlands is a relatively small place, the "trails" are very short, it is more of an obstacle play park than anything else.

I think there has been a certain level of disappointment over the years.

Perhaps the event has a tendancy to be "talked up" on the event boards, and then people come down there who are used to trail riding on bigger properties and lands, and they're expectations do not meet what attica is really about.

This is the midwest afterall, and it willbe the dead of winter.

There will be trailleaders to lead groups on green orange and pink trail. Remember that the trails are short, so "trail riding" will only occupy a small portion of the day. Otherwise, everyone is free to play in the "obstacle park" (quarry)

Naxja and our vendors have been extrememly generous in the past in regards to donating raffle items. Naxja put on a great show in moab, which consumed resources. A Winterfest raffle should not be expected. We've been lucky in the past, but it is NOT a standard.
