Con this weekend

X2. The world is just not a safe place anymore. Im just glad we were able to have a great time dispite the dangers lurking from below

you said it.
There is no way to know what is down there lurking in the deep waters. It scares the liven hell outta me. I just imagine getting pulled down by some giant serpent/fish thing .

Well my first trip alright considering the work that was just wrapped up two days before. This wa my buddys TJ who has zero time and not a garage as Well equiped as mine. Abpit three months ago he rolled and got oil in the combistion chamber On the rear cylinder and him not knowing any Better went to start it right up after it sat On its side for about two hours and broke a one inch chunck off the connecting rod amd shoot thru the oil pan. So after waiting for him to tet all the parts we rebuilt the entire engine and re did all the front four link bushings trying to solve the DEATH wobble.

So we finally got to folsom at aboit 2pm but before we even got it unloaded we noticed one of the C clips that hold the ball joint together had popped out. So after two hours of playing aroun my aunts House who had pretty much just pieaces of pipe for spacer and a wood clamp we were able to Get it back in.. Then we did about 45mph the entire way up to ice House. Got to the trail head at about midnight mostly due to the death wobnle forcing us to slam On the brake to about 5mph On the freeway about 40 times. So we had a dilema to decide On, either pop out the cots and pass out or run the trail to meet up with our group at trubicon spring by morning. So being the dummys we are we decided to run the trail. We got about a mile amd a half in and we were On the first granite slab and took a little different line and we BLEW UP the rear driveline. So we limpped out in front wheel drive. Finally we hit the trailhead again by 1:30 am. So the delimea popped up again either pop the cots or drive back to folsom. So folsom we went mostly cause the front driveline issue amd the death wobble, i new there would be no one On 50 at 2:30 in the morning. So we finally got back to the truck at aboit 3:30 or 4 passed out for a few hours woke up and packed up and back to san jose.

But loke i said ot was a Okay trip. We found the trail we got out On our own power. We fixed the bushing with pretty much zero tools. We also had zero ossues witht then engine , considerinv it was the first engine i ever rebuilt.

The bad was we ce home with a cooler full of beer.

Also zero pics. Ill defianetly be planning another trip up there and hopefully my hiddy listens to my abvice and gets all the parts i tell him so i can fix his rig back into perfection.

I heading up tomorrow too. Where are you guys camping?
