37s and trailrradys on the tacoma
I have the full HD offroad as my front middle rear base the middle and rear have plenty of support beyond that base . The front Hooligan plates I do not beleive cover the entire bottom from curve at firewall all the way to the front crossmember and I'm about positive they do not touch the inside of the front rail ...lol...if they did I would have bought them vs hours of bending cutting and fitting . The focus of my dilemma was what do I really need for plate up front the sides are .135 the full bottom .125 this.plus the existing.rail.is .199-.209 in an area that has no rock contact and is tied into a cage , but I am no Engineer so I could be wrong and be slight on the material thickness ...lol...a little late in the game to worry about a few pounds of steel with a 6,000 lb rig .
What year is it and specs? The Liberty is going back into the dealer tomorrow. Indefinitely. They will replace the seat cover. They said they even took it out of the box and checked it this time. Now it's also idling rough and doing a no start thing once in a while. No codes thrown. I'm not optimistic they'll be able to fix it.
It's a 2012 Limited with 48,000 miles.
I started doing some of mine. Doesn't go back super far yet. Mostly to tie in the bumper. But I did too and bottom in 1/8". My thinking was that it should help minimize twisting forces on, so 1/8" seemed plenty
Not sure on my Mom's Year Liberty 2012-2013 I think it had some abs issue that the dealer wanted $1500 to fix my Dad bought the part on Ebay and put it in for $150...But other than that it has had no issues .
George is going to NEED a V8 soon enough just to bring the power to weigh ratio back to near stock.
1-ton-tank![]()
When the 4.0 dies that will be an option , but for now the 5.13s plus the.5.0.Atlas have no lack of Torque to move it ...But Lubes TJ has the.Lq9 thought alive .
Yeah, that's his 10th-ish motor by now?
I've entertained the idea of a V8 in the buggy.
Cost is one thing, and redoing a bit of work is another.
If I we're going that route, it would most likely be LQ9 with some work to bump it up to 450HP or so, 4L80E, and a Hero Case![]()
Scrap was up to $90/ton today.
RMR graded my trailer load as "#2 unprepared." Maybe I should have called around.$110/ton in Cheyenne, $100/ton in Greeley.
