You must have me confused with some other old geezer. I'm the old geezer who lives 60-some miles to the North, in Golden.

Thats roughly what im shooting for. rear will come up another 2", front 1" for a smooth 23" belly height. Thats right at 114" wheelbase as well. May go slightly longer too.

Let me know how those do I will be buying tires in about a month , and really like the sizes of the Rocker and 15 wheel option works since I have a set of MRW sitting .

Um...yeah...lol...David makes a good point . Well I made holes and a wheelbase around these 44'tsl so the 44 Rocker is looking good . I should be done in Two months and probably be done enough to test run it on an easy Chinaman run before this month ends.

I almost put 37s on the Dodge but.they rubbed a bit too much on the lower arms at full lock without a spacer or new wheels , so 35s were the compromise . Kind of funny how big 35s look on a Jeep and how stockish they look on a fool-size .

.023 solid wire vs .030 ...anyone here use the .023 for 3/16th and 1/4 .My chart only rates it for 3/16th but just curious . The reason I ask is I had a small roll of it sitting for thin sheet and never used it for that , but ran out of .030 so I pulled it out to finish the side tube/rub rails on the boatsides and it seemed super easy for bead control during use .So anyone here used it for .188-.250 with good results...lol...like nothing fell off .

We have three machines we primarily use at Tnt. One is a small 210 Lincoln with .023 wire that we primarily use for 16/14g but have used up to 3/16 ina pinches. Then we have a machine with .030 and one with .035. Personal preference for the stuff we do between the two in my opinion.

Thickness question on front rail plating do you folks think 1/8th for the bottom and what I can reach on the inside with motor in is sufficient or bump it up . I cut bottom and inside plates out of 1/8th since it was easy to form at this point it would be easy to double them up rather than after. The only thing left up front is the panhard which I will brace a bit more and tie it to the passenger rail with a brace , So am I silly to think of going thicker ?

Kits range from .125 - .188 and the ones that offer front rail typically do not touch the bottom rail or inside the ones that do only have a lip on the bottom . What I am plating is the full bottom to the frame horn and what can.be reached on the inner ...lol....Iwill most likely just double it to .250 and end the guess work hell I did the un plated 18 inches of the bottom rail that were omitted due to the first crossmember ...lol...I used 1/2 inch plate but it is super high impact point now with boatsides and all weight going to the rail when you do hit the rail .

The Liberty is going back into the dealer tomorrow. Indefinitely. They will replace the seat cover. They said they even took it out of the box and checked it this time. Now it's also idling rough and doing a no start thing once in a while. No codes thrown. I'm not optimistic they'll be able to fix it.

Hooligan does the bottom and the inside plate......

I have the full HD offroad as my front middle rear base the middle and rear have plenty of support beyond that base . The front Hooligan plates I do not beleive cover the entire bottom from curve at firewall all the way to the front crossmember and I'm about positive they do not touch the inside of the front rail ...lol...if they did I would have bought them vs hours of bending cutting and fitting . The focus of my dilemma was what do I really need for plate up front the sides are .135 the full bottom .125 this.plus the existing.rail.is .199-.209 in an area that has no rock contact and is tied into a cage , but I am no Engineer so I could be wrong and be slight on the material thickness ...lol...a little late in the game to worry about a few pounds of steel with a 6,000 lb rig .
