Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Indeed, you'd like to think that when someone gets in your face like that a quick open-palm smack across their face to shut them up would be legal........ but unfortunately it's not.

Notice that beeeesh drives a Prius.....

How does that work...If someone squares off with you and threatens your space and will not stop accosting you, when can you throw hands to defend yourself?

I don't have children, but if i did, and someone aggressively approached my family in a confined space, Man or Woman, we are dancing.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

If it's just a verbal assault, you stand your ground and take it, or walk away. Fists are never a defense against words unfortunately. Personally I'd have a hard time charging anyone for smacking someone like that to restore peace and order..... SO many times I wish I could do that in my official capacity....... *sigh*

If they block your path, to keep you "confined" so they can continue the verbal assault, you may be able to justify physical action....... hope you have a witness.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

See now what I do is simply pull out my waders and wave them around. Problem solved.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

What did my waders do to you Jim?

Is that a pink badge?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Hey Troy, I'll be up there in a few weeks. Let's fish that section of the urban Platte that we talked about eh? Under that one bridge. It'll be rad.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I'm sitting here on the couch minding my own damn business. Bodhi (the larger more clumsy of the two dogs) is sitting close by. He suddenly leaves. And then I smell it. ****er. Can't even enjoy m chocolate covered pretzels. Well.....maybe one more.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I've noticed some similarities between that tubed buggy being sold in the classifieds section and that bitching rattan furniture set. Similar lines. Probably really cool owners. That's more than a coincidence. I'm thinking package deal.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

It's 10:41ish. I'm the only one man enough to be up this late? You guys must be soft cox.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

The one pictured is a one-off trailhawk with a 3.0 CRD (472lbft of torque), and those are 35's tucked under it with no lift, other than the factory airbag adjustable lift... bad ass, and from what I've read no real mods to the suspension, and just about 2.5" cut out of the wheelwells to fit the meats.

I cannot afford the $50k pricetag on that beast, but I've been re-inspired on what I want from the WJ... I think at the end of the day in rescue green, but with a similar format to the above pic.

Edit: you can option the 2013 trailhawk with the Hemi.... I just tried at Jeep.com :D

I wonder if they welded the slider tubes to the factory sliders or replaced the rockers with something else? looks good.
Ya I think they look great with the 285's. But those 35's look awesome on there. I don't really like that color, but looks great otherwise. Ya she isn't very fond of the price tag either, but her current ride is reaching that 100k point and she has had it since new and wants to get into something else as/before the warranty on it times out. And the trailhawk is a leading contender.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Fourwheeler mag indicated that the sliders are slightly modified bolt-ons from Mopar parts... that's what's groovy is that even though its technically a concept vehicle, it is "that close" to a production model and could be easily duplicated... I'm not sure I'll be able to duplicate the low-slung look on the WJ, but I'm going to get it close.

Iceland offroad flares would work on the WJ. Did that company that took over release the WJ variants again? If I were building a WJ I'd be all in for the full package from Iceland Offroad.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I don't like the iceland look on WJ's -- too wide and lumpy looking. Love the iceland XJ flares, not WJ. Plus their front bumper, while it looks OK, is made out of reinforced fiberglass... no thanks!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

The diesel pays for itself at around 65k miles over the hemi, at least using my back of envelope calculations using current fuel prices. I had to do that after I read about the above trailhawk. :)

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Love diesel. mom, not so much. she like the "rumble" (I say that as I literally laugh out loud due to the stock nature of his truck) of my dads truck and wants an SUV more like that than her current 4 banger.
