Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

****in skunk just did its thing outside. Must have been really close too. Damn it stinks. Remind me what they're actually good for again?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I typed f a w k. Not the other. Just so ya know. I try to keep things respectable.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Try having your dog get hit, and then jump into bed with you. Tear gas didn't make me cry, but that did. :)

Retaliate with your waders...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

You are such an a hole. There is no comparison to my waders and that stench.

I don't know...I've heard those waders are a thing of legend. Minstrels sing songs about them in old English hymn.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

ROR. I hit a skunk on the ice in the jeep in March... took 6 weeks and several washes for the smell to disappear. I can only imagine if I hit River's waders...

i want you guys to seriously consider more secure web browsing in light of the communist obama and his snooping. i use duck duck go and it uses https (secure) and startpage is in the netherlands and is out of country and NSA has no leverage on them. all your e mails, web pages, browsing, texts and forum posts are and have been watched by the government. say what you want i dont care, but they dont have any reason to intrude on our conversations. if you laugh it off and do nothing you are helping them. rights lost....never come back

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I completely agree except I doubt SSL/HTTPS is any real defense. I'm sure they found a way to break that shit years ago. If you accept self signed certificates or invalid certificates (basically when the browser pops up a window and asks if you're sure you want to make an exception, generally) you can count on anything you do with that site being snooped on unless you actually know exactly what you're doing, verified that the fingerprint is correct with the site owner, etc.

I am really not pleased with the government over this, though I've known about it for years. I was up in arms about the colorado datacenter they built for this purpose years ago when they started building it... have you heard of AT&T room 641A?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Damn!!! No wonder your RENIX won't run, you have encrypted your outputs!

Even legitimate publicly signed certificates won't protect you. I've put in web content filtering that can watch SSL traffic for many sites.

disclaimer -- I am not tech savvy enough to know what the hell any of you are talking about, nor the guy in the article I posted. Know that you are being watched, particularly if you are one who like me on occasion might say something controversial and "anti-government" on the interwebs. But don't accept it, complain loudly, speak your mind, spread the word and in the end a government that relies on the consent of the governed will lose that consent, and our lives will again improve.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

You don't think "they" know the manner in which I caressed that 27" Northern Pike that utterly destroyed my fly yesterday do you?

Even I will admit that my waders did, in fact, stink at the end of the day. My net was not big enough (I said net) and I literally pounced and straddled it once I got it in the shallows. There may or may not have been very minor pelvic thrusting on my part but the fish was no worse for the wear afterwards and slowly swam back into the depths from whence it ummmm....came.

Dear Penthouse...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

This bums me out.

I found a video that I made (circa 2007) of my 70' Nova that I had built on an old Flash Drive buried at the bottom of my office desk. Damn I miss this car. I won A LOT of money dragging this thing at Palm Beach Raceway. Drove this to work everyday and to-and-from the track. Ran 9's then drove home.

Sold it to some jackass from North Carolina that almost drove it off the front of his trailer when he picked it up - messed up the whole DS door and bumper. Thankfully I already had the money.

I think every person has the 'one' that got away. This was mine.

Click on the picture to view the video....sigh :(

Re: The Colorado BS thread

OK so in my spare time I've been working on a 1981 CB650 for a friend. I got a new battery for it but while I've been trouble shooting some stuff, it has warn down. I went to start it just now for giggles and was slowly cranking and then nothing. Is it safe to jump start a motorcycle off my car? The new exhaust will be here in the morning and then I'll ride it around the neighborhood and be done with it.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Well that's what I was going to do and probably will just try that tomorrow but if that doesn't work then I gotta push that thing back up the driveway. Or...bring the car down.
