Coilover front suspension...

just wanted to gather some ideas on how people that have gone with a coil over front are doing. picked up some 2.5 SAW's for a good deal and will be putting them on soon, just wanted to see how everyone else has done it. if you can post pix please. thanks in advance guys!

I could show you pics of my XJ buggy, but it wouldn't apply to a full bodied setup. There's not really many diffrent ways to do it. Bend or buy a couple shock hoops, weld them to short stubs of tube sticking out from the side of the frame (after plating that section of frame), add a removable cross brace over the engine, and put on some shock mounts.

What front axle do you have?

What valving in the shocks and what spring rates do you plan on? What about bumpstops?

i got some 10" 2.5 SAWs and i have available many spring rates and i am not sure what valving will be going into the shocks untill we test it. i was just looking at ways in which others have done it.
