It'd be slumming, but I'm sure Les would be willing to help out the Co Chapter if needed.

LOL - Ok, this is getting a little obnoxious. :D

Bad news is, ACL is definitely toast, Maniscus is likely torn too. MRI on Monday to confirm. Surgery is a certainty. Good news is - no cadaver parts for me, surgeon said he'd be harvesting some of my own hamstring for the repair. He doesn't like to use cadaver parts. 2 months down time..... Gonna miss CO Fest. Dammit.

Dude I just had surgery in march with the same. Tore ACL and tore the minicus in 2 place also stetched every ligament in the knee. Hold your head up high and do the theraphy, I am now playing soft ball and it feels great. You'll be back in no time.

Can you say second opinion? The hamstring route takes longer to heal and more therapy afterward. The dead guys not going to notice the missing parts....

Good luck and a quick recovery either way....

Yah...I've been leg slammed a couple of times by my dog. It's been over extended a couple of times, but nothing this bad!
Good luck with the Surgery!!

Does this mean you won't break any windows or twist up your Jeep this year? :D
You probably won't actually miss that part will you...? ;)

What, are you friggin' kidding me???? I'd much rather thrash on the Heep than have my knee go thru all this! Hell, I'd roll the damn thing into oblivion! :D

This just trashes my entire summer. As I post this, I SHOULD have spent the past few days finishing the pillar repair and windshield replacement! :banghead:
 
Knees...what fun. Im about to be 20, and will most likely already be needing surgery :banghead:. Well I've actually kinda needed it for the last year or two...but can't find a convenient time for it between wheeling and ski season :roflmao: Best of luck to ya though Troy. So are you going to be at COfest but not wheeling, or not there at all?

That's a good question. Kinda depends on how soon I can get into surgery and then heal. At the least, I want to come up for Friday and Saturday. My buddy Terry is coming up those days and I could ride with him if I can't 'wheel my junk.

I agree, and I was just in Colorado. Nobody stepped up to show me the jeep trails. So I explored fire roads in the Sub. For a huge lumbering beasty, it did quite well... must've been the new H2 rims... chrome and all. Bling bling!
