what is the bolt pattern on a late 70s early 80's cherokee cheif. I can get one for 300 bucks but 2 wheels are flat. Also, 300 a good price for one, has to be jump started, not rusted real bad. Also, what axel comes stock in the, i think its a dana 30?

My 79 Cherokee S had a D44 front and if I remember correctly a 44 in the rear as well, 6 lug. Not sure what years for sure used the 20, I know theres an 86 Grand Wagoneer in the junkyard with 44's F&R that a buddy is planning on snagging for his CJ. Better check it out real well though for it to have 2 wheels smashed flat something real bad musta happened, that axle might well be bent.

The wheels look like they are just old and the air leaked out of them, dont look to be any damage to the body. It doesnt look lik an amc 20 in the rear because its not a percect circle. The front right and back left tires are flat.

OK, just so you know... the wheels are the metal thingies that bolt on to the axles, the tires are the rubber thingies on the aforementioned wheels. :moon:

I used to have a 78 Cherokee Chief... Those are amazing trucks!

I am not parting the whole thing out, im just getting rid of the interrior things i dont need. Im am going to try and turn the ac pump into an aircompressor. I remember seeing a write up on how to do this, but i dont remember where, anyone have a link?

"ANAL" and "TECHNICAL" so often confused...

Maybe he was referring to my Smiley - :moon: :dunno:
Remember since the 90's words no longer actually mean what they mean.... "it depends on what your definition of what is, is" :dunce:
