Ok, another "chat" question--how can I disable it?
I'm going to assume you're referring to the Envolve chat client that fires up in the bottom of the window..... even if you turn it off in your control panel, and turn it off in it's settings, it doesn't always pay attention, and will start up again on it's own.
The more permanent way is to point d.envolve.com to localhost in your hosts file. It's an ill behaved application, I refuse to use it. And given that Envolve is more of a marketing company than anything, I won't allow them to snoop on my chat sessions for any reason at all.
