Cars you hate

I had a 91 Pontiac Grand Am and a 93 Pontiac Grand Prix, both for very cheap and both ended up costing me about $2500.00 per year for stupid maintenance, like new alternators every four months and absurd electrical problems. Everything literally fell apart on those cars, switches, panels, paint, hinges, rubber, etc, etc.

A guy that I know has one of those "Things". He is so proud of it, even takes it car shows.

we did have one 03 chevy with the 8.1 in it. awsome except it had a bad electrical problem both HD batteries died every night even tho we checked everything (lights and such). dealer couldnt find anything wrong. everything else has been listed

Anything made by Volkswagon in the last 8 years mainly the Jetta.
We have the contract for the local VW dealer to fix all their cars and we do at least one Jetta a week with the front bumper falling off. Plus most VW have a PLASTIC tie bar, and that is suppost to save your life????
If your going to be a euro man atleast step up to an AUDI.

This is all MY opinion take as you will.

SO you are saying...if you don't want a VW...buy an more expencive VW?
I hate pretty much all european cars. Uncomfortable seats....expencive to fix....Ugly. Think I would rather own a Korean car.

Avalanche, looks more like a mudslide to me! Fisher Price don't use that much plastic on their trucks. Wheel openings look like they were just cut out with a box cutter.

The ones you can buy without all the plastic are way better looking....They are one of the few fullsize trucks that need to be lifted to look right too.
Could have something to do with the box cutter fenders though(proudly sporting these on my XJ)

Now box cutter fenders on an XJ, that's a different story, we all know, when combined with the classic lines of an XJ can make one sharp vehicle.

Not saying much from someone who has boxcuttered their whole jeep :D :D :D
He He, I guess I had that coming , I've always said XJs should have came from the factory with perforated lines to cut along, cut here for 31's, cut here for 32's. lol

Oh I agree the only Euro car I have come acrossed that I have like are the HIGH end Mersedes Benz. I would go Asian before European.

I also don't like the Hummer H3 (In addition to the H2s)

I mean the true Military HumVee was and still is cool.
The H1 was cool just because they were rare and still bad@$$. (Rent The Rock)
I can't stand the H2s, but i can see some practicality to them (only when compared to the H1).
But now there will be H3s. I think Hummer is just trying too hard with this one. It is a downsized H2. Why would someone buy a Hummer, and get the smallest one you could?

Hummer is just trying to soak up all the left over people that wanted XJs, but can't get a new one because DC screwed up and stopped making them.

Sorry, just a little rant.

Per the subject... Which cars do you hate, and why? They don't have to necessarily be current models, just something that makes you wish the manufacturer had taken the design and engineering teams out back and shot them.

For my part, I'm nominating the horrid Kia Amanti. It's big, ugly, and made by the same people who gave us the nasty little Rio, the vehicle that proves nobody needs a new car this badly.

I hate your car.

:kissyou:

Me too, because it's still stuck in a wash :D

CRV, RAV4, X90, new Trackers/Vitaras, Civic, Ranchero, Liberty (face it, its gay), new Durangos, TJ's because of the frat boy owners, Aztek, Avalanche...the list goes on

So you don't like it b/c of the name??
I had one with a 350 in it come in to work. That thing was just nasty (burns rubber very easily).

Not just because of the name. I had a 81 Citation, when I was 16. The damn thing wanted me to die I swear. It would stall in the middle of intersections with 18 wheelers coming, and when I made sharp turns in parking lots. Never had to change the oil, because it always ran low and I had to fill it up. My friend smashed it into a tree.
