So, the other day I take the heep into the jeep dealership for an oil change, we have a family friend who is the service mannager there, and he hooks us up whith deals, the oil changes are usually cheaper than what I can do them for, plus i don't have to deal with getting rid of the oil. We leave and the wife drives, she never gets a chance to drive a stick anymore and always want to drive the XJ when she can. The next morning I leave for work, get out on the road and look at my gauges and my oil pressure is at ZERO!!!!, WTF did they forget to put oil in, or leave the drain plug out? So I pull over to check the obvious, pop the hood, and the first thing I see is my oil pressure sending unit is snapped off, I wasn't squirting oil all over but all the same I took it back home, stole the wifes minivan and went work. Called our freind and told him what happened and he took care of me, got a brand new sending unit for free when I got off work and spent about 5 minutes doing the repair. The tec got his ass chewed and I'm happy. What happened to quality service, or just people giving a damm about what they do? The Tec had to have noticed when he snapped it off. Well that's the end of my rant.:soapbox:
