best description I can give for it is a dissapearing post. What happens is that the text of the post doesn't show up till I highlight it and it seems to ussually happen on posts that were edited by the user....

it was happening to me too for a while, but i havent seen it happen in several days now. It mainly ssem to happen to posts made pre-update.....

Well.. I see it on a daily basis on few different posts.. this is the first example that comes to mind: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15933 but there are more... :) I will keep adding them here as needed (or rather as I remember LOL)

probably needs to be moved to the proper place...Bug Reports. I am not seeing the problem on the link you provided.

Don't know what to tell you.... I have to highlight the post in question in order for the text within the post to appear.... it seems to be happening under IE as Opera picks up the page just fine.....

Profound. Not sure what you want to hear then, as in IE and Firebird, they both render the proper format here. If IE on your machine screws it up, and Opera renders it fine, seems you have narrowed it down to your IE.

Actually I've seen this too, but haven't thrown it up here yet because I haven't investigated it much. I only recall seeing it here on teh work machine...

So IE 6.0 SP1, same thing (in fact I even say it on Remi's posted link). I havne't noticed is the problem is constant or not (as in if it shows up every time I look at a particular post, or only some of the time), I'll get back to you on that after some further looking at it.

When I get home tonight I'll take a look at it from various browsers on my Mac (Netscape, IE, and Safari) and let you know.

Need a screen shot, or the html source.... as the links show up fine here.

Here's a shot that has the highlighted text up there, for hte hell've it :)

try the F5 key when you see it. What happens then?

F5 has no effect on it, but either highlighting all the text brings it back or scrolling of the screen... but the second I cover up the page with another page, it dissapears again (or at least the covered part).

Again, try the F5 key to do a hard refresh. From what I can tell, the end user computer is not loading/using the CSS properly after a post is edited. So far, it looks like you are using a cahched version.

Try this.......
scroll all the way down the thread, then scroll up again. Is the text there now?

LOL.... ok, as I have said above, scrolling brings it up, but then when I put a new window on top of it and then switch back to the one in question it dissapears again... also, it was the first time I have visited that post, so it can't be an issue of a cached version (it was already edited)

It is a problem with that theme you are using. Based on your screen shot, you are using the "NAXJA Classic" Theme. Try another theme, the Red N Grey should display it correctly.
