reminder: meet in front of the entrance (turn off) into the ghost town (more or less here at 8am.
Weather looks favourably: under 100 with chance of scattered thunderstorms which means less dust (plus lower doran might be really interesting)

Long Range forecasts call for 105 and 20% chance of TS's. I think it's just a wee bit too much work for the AC for me.

It sounds like fun, but I have a few Sierra trips to make up, so I'm headed that way.

Now, a night run there in a week or so has a good sound to it...

Hey Tim,

So it looks like you may be going to Calico on Sunday. Or not. I'm confused.

Let me know. Then I can bring those TJ flares for you.

I'm thinking the answer really loud,:wierd: I hope that works. Why you may ask?

I'll be there. I should have my head examined! But I haven't had a good case of heat stroke since I don't know when.:sunshine: I'll see you then.

Hehehehehe. Some times even I can't stand to be around me!

Yea, Yea, Yea.

It get's pretty difficult to take the year round 60F - 80F spread, day in, and day out. :D

PS: My AC doesn't get much use... Turned it on today just to see if it still works!

It's that black paint, keeps ya cool in the summer and invisable in the snow in the winter.

Hey, we have that same air conditioning system in our FedEx trucks. They're good for pushing the hot air around. :laugh3:

I'll be there Sunday...

Yup, I"m all ready. Bought one of those $25 can's and topped off my ac :D :D
Well, I personally wouldn't need it, but I'll have passengers that I think would KILL me if it wasn't working :D Couple years back, as they started closing off Mojave (8 years ago? or so) I took my old XJ (2.8L) out there with no AC. It was a blast, although a wee bit on the warm side.

Your gonna get WET I BET ! LOL ! No dust... yeah !!! Have fun...be careful.

Curt :us:
