No excuses :) I got a spare if you wanna borrow it for a run :D

thanks remi. but the new one should be in tuesday and really don't want to take the axel apart twice. i'll hold out for a big bear run,,,,or maybe a calico night run that was mentioned!

I may or may not make it out there on Sunday, it depends on what I have left to finish for vacation next week.

I just want to air a word of caution. The thunderstorms/flash floods we've been having are supposed to increase on Sunday. There have been quite a few out in the Barstow area.

Keep an eye skyward. Things happen quick in a flash flood.

Yeah, that's why we will try to reach high ground fast :D :D

Is anyone wanting to meet at the bottom of Cajon Pass to caravan out there?

what freeway you're taking out of LA? I'll be at green river and 91 at 6am

I am taking the 210 out to the 15. Give me a call @ 626-437-6154 to talk. I am heading out to dinner right now and probably won't check the web until really late tonight.

Tim,

Don't forget about the chair :)

You going to be there Luther?

Nope, I've just been too busy to make many runs lately. Hope ya'll are having fun out there. A Calico run in a couple of months would be great, cooler weather too!
Oh it was blast (oven :D). Had a great time with some carnage. Everyone got body damage in one place or other. Lower Doran claimed 1 bead and then a front ujoint on the same rig as it was being winched up (Johnny, I feel for ya :D). Then I believe it claimed a tie rod (Ken, why did you bail? We had 2 spare tie rods and by the time we found out you were gone).

Anyways, heat made things interesting as well as watching snow plow Avery who got himself stuck between a rock and a hard spot (another rock ;) ). Anyways the best description of him would be as follows: have you ever held up a dog above water withing letting him touch water? The thing that he does with his paws.... well, translate that to jeeps and use your imagination.

Lastly... watch my hands not my mouth ;)
Remi
P.S. Rear diff skids suck! They reduce clearance and cause trouble!
