Cage Build

The JD2 can.... The question is can YOU bend it?

Yeah i hope the jd2 will bend it I guess will me using it. .120 wall tough while
Trying to stand on the board. I am going to cement in a mount this time

Nice work Lou. I like the minimalist design, should be nice and light.

Looking good Lou. I know with Jes helping out it's bound to be a solid build.

Thanks fellas.

Jon, just bolt the stand down with some anchors. Bending .188 is going to be a workout, that's for sure.

Rig is getting so built.

That atlas looks Sexy in there. Great fit, did you beat up the floor at all?

Yes, had to beat the tunnel up a bit to make it fit since its clocked up tight. also had to massage the body around the front yoke, since the double cardan on the driveshaft would hit when rotating. You can kind of see how much area needed to be worked up from this pic.

Guess I should update this with some pics. Covering the hole for the shifters took a bit of work, once again it was Jes to the rescue. We came up with this.

Ended up bolting down to the floor and used some seam sealer along the edges. You can also see the ThermoTec liner I put down on the floor to help keep out the radiant heat from the exhaust. Should help keep the noise level down as well.

Got the interior mostly back in and got my seats and harnesses in as well.

Still have some things to finish up, like making a cargo platform and mat. Also need to reinstall some of the trim pieces. Almost ready to wheel.

I love the shifter cover . cage is awesome, and those seats are badass.

it looks better in person!
