It's not just Bush and its not just the reps. We were told from the begining we have surplus as far as the eye could see, We will find the WMD's, the insurgency is on its last leg, we don't torture or invade privacy, FEMA is doing a great job, our economy is fundamentally strong and we can save SS by letting us invest in the markets.

The Dems took back congress telling us washington will change, the war will end, kick the lobbyists out of the back room and show the country how to govern.

Now they ask us to pass a 700 billion dollar bail out plan which isn't going to cover because they need more than a years worth of US total economy.

After McClellan confessed the irrelevance of the Bush P.R strategy his approval ratings have touched an all time low aswell as congress.

I know its a diff. world both Reps and Dems promise a change and who knows well see what happens in the future.

So essentially, you are not making some backwoods wild ass statement about how Bush single handedly messed up the nation. You are more or less expressing your disgust and dislike for the lies and BS we were fed by the Government regardless if they are republican or democrat, correct?

Welcome to politics, it is a game of who can tell the best lie to get into a position that:
a) furthers your personal interests
b) allows you the ability to remain in that position
c) gives you financial comfort at an unconcerning cost to others

This has nothing to do with republican or democrat, that is politics. I have no problems with an educated person making an educated statement, hell I hate the way things are going too. I think this bail out is the biggest shit sandwich we have been fed in at least the last five presidents. I no longer agree with the war. But I also understand why we are there and out of courtesy and respect for the men and women who are dying over there, I keep my opinion to myself. I just wish everyone else would do the same.
