This may be a dumb question, but will this also work in a 98 ZJ? I have the 44A rear axle, and I'm not sure if the XJs have the 44a or the iron 44.

if it is 30 spline it should work... check out off road lockers .com and see if they have it listed or call aussie... i am not 100 percent sure

kinda late asking but ya still got it??? i just aquired an xj dana 44 and want to install an aussie locker before i install the axle assembly.And what are you asking for it?:cheers:

Oh and by the way i will be driving to Atlanta to go to Hyundai tech school directly across from six flags on 5-22 for the day,I think or around that day from NC,of course i would bring CA$H..thanx for any replies

The XD14430 will NOT work in a Dana 44a diff. That model number is the XD14450
