BOD: STT activity....

I would like to get up Left Hand with STT or the Forset Service and help rebuild the fence on Big Momma Hill. I think people have been using the posts as winch points but they aren't strong enough and have been getting pulled up. I'd even be down for helping figure out good anchor points and installing/marking them. Big Momma Hill is starting to turn into a fairly decent challenge but its a learning process for people as they don't realize the FS fenced it off and force you to go over the obstacles. This is causing people to get themselves into trouble. I sign at the entrance might be a good idea too, one of those "33's and 1 locker minimum" type deals.

I gave the info to tom.for the bod to review and make a decision. If they decide to take a path of participation that would be something cool to bring up to them.

Yeah, I was tempted to just head up there myself with a generator and 110V welder to start fixing the poles and stuff but I don;t want to get into trouble for doing it either.

No, I haven't been on the BOD for awhile now. I was only on it for a year.

I'm cool with that, but I would like to get up there before winter to make the repairs. I can get access to a generator and 110 welder to fix poles and can get a cable cutter to shorten up the cables and make them tighter too. I'd even be willing to make some good winch anchors if I had a set of plans or an example of one to make them off of.

I belong to Mile high jeep club and have a couple trails our patrol have adopted and we run a few times a year. I would be up for representing . I'll becoming a red member soon. I see Stay the Trail quite often at jeep events while Im promoting All4fun. If this gets more involved I would be more than welcome to attend sponsored trail clean ups as well as it's self while out with my MHJC patrol trail clean ups.
